Le Jardin Perdu is nestled in the hills of the Millevache National Park, in the Limousin region of France.
The business was established by myself in 2015 with the aim of offering a range of eco-friendly greeting cards; cards which are unique yet help to protect our wildlife and the environment.
Le Jardin Perdu plantable cards are all designed and made in-house. The plantable cards along with Le Jardin Perdu gift tags are made from 100% recycled post consumer waste paper which is embedded with wildlife friendly flower seeds. When planted outside, the cards and labels completely compost away and will leave behind nothing but beautiful flowers. The flowers have been carefully chosen to provide a valuable source of nectar to bees, butterflies, hoverflies and other beneficial insects.
I have tried to make all my products as eco-friendly as possible, with as much of the packaging as possible being made from plantable seed paper. Le Jardin Perdu tags and labels, and even the shredded filler sometimes used are all made from plantable seed paper.
I only use acid free tissue paper and postal boxes that contain recycled papers. Both can be recycled.
By choosing Le Jardin Perdu cards and products you’re helping to look after our wildlife and environment, two things close to my heart.
